"Dear Heather:
I just wanted to write a letter to thank you for all your help. When we had our first session you saw my right arm/shoulder/neck were causing me a lot of discomfort and had been for the better part of a year. After only a few sessions with you my mobility and pain were greatly relieved and now I’m happy to be able to do the many activities I’m used to doing.
I am a very active person with my running, my weights and my newest passion – dragon boating having my body work for me is extremely important to me. I cannot imagine my life without activity. I realize that active people are also prone to injury and after learning so much from you regarding injuries and prevention I have added your stretches to my daily regime to maintain my mobility and to keep me doing the things I love to do.
Movement therapy is a new science but it seems so logical and it so not invasive and I would recommend your sessions to anyone who needs help with sore joints, or muscles or your basic sports injury. I found it so interesting that even though my pain point was my arm you determined the injury actually started in my hip flexors which is a result of my running. As I said, active people are prone to injury!!!

"Three years ago I was suffering from extreme neck, shoulder and back pain. After a visit to my Doctor, I was sent to have X-rays. It was discovered that I have osteo-arthritis and quite sever focal degenerative disc disease at C5-6 in my spine.
My doctor then recommended that I begin Physiotherapy right away. I did and after 6 long months, I was still in a lot of pain. I happened to mention my problem to Heather during a Healing Stone Massage appointment I had with her. After discussing my problem and showing her the Radiology report, she was sure she could help me. The only thing I had to lose was pain, so I figured why not! After a few weeks of Myofascial and Movement Therapy with Heather, I was beginning to feel better. In less than 3-4 months, I was almost pain free! By doing simple stretches and gentle movement exercises each day that Heather taught me, I am now pain free

"I have been looking for Heather for many years. I didn't know her name or exactly what she did, but I have been looking.
In the process of looking I went through years of personal training, physical therapy, chiropractic care with muscle stimulation, osteopathic treatment and orthopaedic care. None of these practitioners understood what I needed when I told them that I didn't know how to walk.
